Carefully placing the crumpled picture back in her wallet she smiled. "You are a spontaneous one," she said chuckling quietly. She gentley tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
"Isn't there a Humane Society around here?" she inquired, not only because she was sort of against pure breeding, but because there were always really sweet dogs there that needed a good home. "It's so sad seeing all those homeless dogs," She said looking up at him, trying to be convincing. She also liked volunteering at places like that. Just go a love on all the dogs. She dropped her purse. it hit the floor with a thump that echoed through to empty gym.

Ryan smirked. "I try to be," he said, laughing. "Where's the fun in life if you can't be spontaneous?" Buying a dog wasn't something he was planning on doing right now, actually, but Koti really had changed his mind. The boy really wanted to go out and buy one now, and he really didn't care how much it would cost.
"I think there is, but I'm not too sure where," he said, trying to think. He knew there was one around here somewhere. "Oh, I know - it's amazing a person would be able to put a dog in a situation like that," he went on. "I think I'll get one from there, how about it?"

"That's sweet of you," she said grinning. So many people wanted a perfect purebred puppy, but they neglected to realize that some dogs need a home so much more.
"It's not really bad there, it's just not ... not like home," she said looking down. She used to go to the Humane Society in Chicago and get attached to the dogs when she was younger. She looked down at the floor; eyes tracing the wood grains.
"I really can't imagine, how people can be cruel to animals..." she added trailing off. Yet again their conversation was venturing into depressing topics. She crossed her legs Indian style, her eyes returning from the ground to him.

Prudence had walked around school grounds, but found nothing worthy of her attention. A little work out could not hurt, after all she nothing better to do with her time. Entering the gym in her own thoughts, the fact that there is already people comes as a bit of a nasty surpraise. Some little freak girl and a guy, looking like Johnny Good-Guy or somthing.

Ryan didn't see the need to have a perfect puppy. Everything else in his life was near-perfect and the boy decided it was time for a change. Plus, he figured he could do better with a puppy from there. They might be a little more, eh, sociable then a purebred puppy, especially one that hasn't interacted with people before.
"People are stupid sometimes," he went on, looking over at a girl who had just come into the gym. He looked back at Koti, saying, "But hey...some people are real angels, you know?"

She nodded, "Yeah, there are some..." she said with a smirk. Her aunt had come to mind; she was only out to better the world, even if it meant quitting her job to volunteer full time. She shook the thought from her head. If she continued to think about it she'd only become homesick, and she didn't want to go there.
Movement by the door caught her eye, some girl. She gave a quick wave and offered a smile to her. She didn't look too excited to see Ryan and her chatting. Then her attention returned to Ryan. "Looks like we have a visitor," she said rolling her eyes. Rolling eyes were something she did oh so often

Ryan's gaze turned back at the girl that had walked into the gym. The boy hadn't seen her before and a part of him wondered who she was, but he wasn't going to go right up and ask her. Maybe she'd come over to talk or something. Maybe not. It didn't bother him too much - the look he and Koti had received when she walked in wasn't the best.
"That it does," he said a moment later. His smile faded a little as he looked around the empty gym, finally resting back on Koti. Their conversation seemed to have slowed, but it didn't bother him very much.

"Ehh she doesn't look too thrilled to be here," she said shrugging. She didn't know what else to talk about, which was odd; she had been know to have phone conversations that lasted eight hours. She drummed her fingers on the bleacher, their conversation had come to a stop. "So--," she groaned as her words were cut off my The Higher blaring from her Sidekick. "Sorry," she said grabbing her purse from the ground. That was the problem with her and big purses, she could throw something in it, but she couldn't ever retrieve it.
And we're gonna risk it all for the weekend Cause I've been needing this time off and everybody's drinking You get excited, you can't hide it when you hit the floor The after party won't get started till bout three or four So when you see me from across the room, girl you know what to do Can you get me in the mood?
She finally grabbed the Sidekick. She quickly pressed the silence button when she saw the contact was 'Pops'.
"Eh, just my father, we're still not talking..." she said trailing off as she put the phone back into the bottomless pit. "Him and me aren't the best of friends at the moment," she said with a smirk.

Just plain sad, the girl sounded and even looked like a major freak, first impression held true. But the guy might have more then half a brain. "Unless the balls part of some fashion statement, how about playing me?" She smiled charming. "Or is this a two person game between you and the brownie?" She could not help it, just came natural to her

Koti looked at the girl, well, wasn't the nicest person. She had just made a bad first impression. "Actually, I'm going to have to pass; I've not athletic ability," she said trying to remain nice, although she would've much rather retorted with some nasty remark.
She looked over at Ryan frowning, "You can if you want," she said offering a weak smile.

Ryan looked at the girl as she approached them. She looked okay, really, until she started talking. As her lips moved, he disliked her more and more, but her proposal sounded more than appealing. Maybe playing her a little, beating her, would put a damper on her sour attitude. He looked over at Koti, noticing the weak smile she was forcing herself to put on. "You don't mind?" he asked quietly, leaning closer.
His gaze drifted back to the other girl, his mood turning as sour as her attitude. She...she was starting to strike him as a person he really wasn't going to like.

She might have found a bit of fun here after all. "Come on now, donīt tell me you need permission from your little girlfriend there." She placed a hand on her hip. "Pass the ball, I go and find some of the big boys and see if they like to play, seems I am out of your leauge, Kent." She laughed to herself and smirked

Koti shrugged looking at him. The desicion was ultimately up to him, and that's exactly what she was going to tell him; then she heard the girl's rude remark. The smile faded from her lips, she couldn't fake it any longer. "Yeah go for it," she said looking up from the bleachers to him. Plus, if he knocked her down from her high horse, which he was bound to do, she might be humbled a bit.
She bit her lip glancing at the girl, she didn't seem to be a big threat, rather a bigt pain in the ass, but she was used to people like her. "Good luck," she said bringing her attention back to Ryan giving offering him an encouraging smile.

Ryan ignored the last comment of the girl that had come up to them, giving her a rather nasty look. Now, he'd much rather tell her where the bear shits in the woods, but...maybe a little round wouldn't kill anybody. He was bound to win anyway, and even if he didn't, it was no sweat off his back.
"Ready when you are," he said to the new girl rather rudely, the nasty look returning to his face. He picked up the ball, holding it against his right side again. This would be fun, whether he won or lost.

Koti turned from her sitting crossed legged position to where she was actually sitting correctly on the bleacher. She faced the court with one leg crossed over the other. She glanced up at Ryan who had a disgusted look plastered on his face. She offered him a weak smile.
She looked up to the girl, she'd be a very pretty girl if it wasn't for her bitchy attitude.
